A twisted brown cord anchoring a large, textured metal scallop shell. Detailed with a dark oval cabochon center, a single pearl bead, and a fringe of cylindrical stone drops.

  • The pendant metal: a solid copper core, plated with a palladium-cobalt base to seal the copper and protect it from migrating, then richly coated in a heavy layer of 18K gold (~1 micron thick).
